up with Mitch, it seems the scope magnified things so much that it looked like pitting. Wiped everything out and cylinders look perfect. Cross hatch is still good, everything seems to check out with valves etc. Going to delete PCV system and fix the leaks which may have caused that cylinder bank side to run slightly lean.
